Appraisals Values Questions?

Does your home need to appraise for the asking price or the amount of the loan they buyers are applying for? We listed our home for what the real estate rep told us in anticipation of the buyer wanting to negotiate. They offered full price! I am not sure if the property will appraise for the full asking price. Thanks
