How long does army have to charge you with a DUI. its been 8mths now and i got it offpost. they know about it.?

i'm an E-6 promotable, my BN CSM said they would most likely take my promotable status. i got a deffered sentence in court, so in a year it will be off my record if i dont mess up. i deploy next month. nothing has been said to me by anybody in the military about it. my final court was settled 4mths ago. how long can they wait this out. is there a time limit for them to punish me.
