Don't know what my teacher wrote means....?

So I am writing a story for my French cl and I got the corrected paper back and now I am fixing it. Only problem is that there is something that she wrote and I have no idea what she means. Normally under words she will write things like cond. for conditional, imp. for imperfect, pl. for plural, hv for helping verb, and inf. for infinitive. But now there is one and I have no idea what she wrote. I think that it says vol. she wrote it under the word effectu�es. The other part of the sentence goes "Il effectu�es le poisson derri�re lui......." if that helps. Please help me figure this out it's driving me nuts and I won't get a chance to ask her about it before it's due.
