How come we have barely heard about the atrocities that happened in Asia during WW2?

The troops there in China had a lab there were the prisoners were brought in. The cover story was that it was a saw mill. Those running the camp joked that the bodies coming in were "kubody"(spelling?) Japanese for logs. And that's preety much how they were treated!
