My 95 lb chocolate lab ate a 1 lb bag of chocolate chips as well as a bag of hershey kisses. Help?!?

Now he is drinking water like a fish and his heart is racing. We called the vet and they said that he should be fine but that we should take the water away from him. I am still concerned because he is acting so strange, peeing in the house, acting so hyper, not eating etc....
