Remedies for teething??

My daughter is 6 months and just miserable. She is drooling like mad...ends up soaking my carpet...(lol) and is so fussy. She puts every toy in her mouth and gets so upset when the rattle won't fit in her whole mouth. She tried to chew the coffee table the other day and got mad her head kept hitting it therefore preventing her mouth from reaching it. I wash my hands really good and she will just gnaw on my finger. She chews on her pacifier instead of sucking it, instead of drinking the bottle she chews the nipple. So I am taking this is all signs of her teething, so what remedies will help? I give her teething toys and rub her gums and try to comfort her but I am not sure of any other ideas?..any help would be appreciated. Thanks
