Spitting in a puppy's mouth to create deeper loyalty?

I'm answering you by opinion only, but I think that the idea of it alone is asinine and repulsive. Creating loyalty takes time, work, and lots of love and trust. Spitting into the mouth of a dog makes no sense to me whatsoever. By the way, don't open a doggie day care business - you'll have no clients after asking that one... (smiles)
