Many parents are indeed under preparing their children for the world. When I was in college I experienced a male pouring bleach in with his colored clothing, I informed him that he was making a mistake and he got smart with me and told me "This is how my mother does it". Needless to say he was quite embarred as he pulled his clothing out of the washer afterwards. I think that some parents get so caught up in doing things their way and not showing their children how to do things, or even allowing them to do things because they want it done "their way" and also because they are too busy. It's much easier to make your child's bed , fold their clothes and put them away where you want them as opposed to having them do it and feeling like you have to go back and do it again, because they didn't do it correctly. Some parents don't take the time to show their children how to cook, or even allow the children to help in the kitchen, therefore Rameen noodles become a quick and easy college dish. I can remember when I first started washing and ironing my clothes. I did it because I wanted to learn how to do it myself, many children today don't want to learn to do things because it's much easier to have someone do it for them. Parents like doing things for their children and they don't think about how their children will be affected in the future, ultimately it will be a trial and error experience for many if not most.

My Ares won't connect to my computer?

I just installed the program Ares, you know, the music/video/internet..etc program. I installed it twice and tried restarting my computer both times. When I go to control panel on Ares, it has the connect/disconnect toolbar. When I hit connect, it only says connecting, it won't connect no matter how long you wait. It all started while driving back to school through the mountains 3 days ago when I realized my ears wouldn't unclog. My hearing was at about 50% and the pressure was killing me. The next morning my head was killing me and I realized I was all stuffed up and I felt really sick. The next morning I went to a walk in clinic because I was so dizzy and disoriented in cl. The doctor said it was just a bad cold that had affected my sinuses pretty bad. Well, 3 days later, almost done with my antibiotics (z pack), i feel just as bad and my visions all blurry and my friends are ind of concerned because they all say im so unalert and kind of out of it. She started hitting, pinching and pulling hair again abut a month ago but now it is very obviously out of anger - If I take something away or close the gate to the kitchen when she wants to go in or who knows... she will look me right in the eye and get this mean little face on and yell and smack me, or pull my hair - even at naptime sometimes if I'm trying to calm her down and soothe her before putting her in her crib - she will pull my hair in the back - not nicely play with it, yank it and rip it out, I will move her hand away probably 20 times and she keeps going back and if I even whisper the word no she FLIPS and smacks me or pulls my hair harder.. it's nuts... So you can imagine what she does if I say no in a firmer voice - cries like I murdered her and smacks me - I have tried saying no loudly, using her hand n my face and saying "nice" - I tell her "no we do not hit" or "No pulling mommy's hair" - I have put her down and walked away - she won't stop and I'm freaked....should a 1 year old be angry like this? ... How did she even learn to hit or pull hair out of anger? ... My husband and I are calm people and honestly haven't had a fight since before I was pregnant....should I be concerned about her anger or is this just a normal thing?

Ok My 6 year old Granddaughter has MRSA Staff Infection in her Blood She got it from her Filthy AUNT.?

I Have even had it from this piece of trash my husband got it from her. She is Nasty. First of all, don't drain the battery every time! this is very Important. Only drain it completely once a month to calibrate it. You are supposed to charge it whenever you need, such as when your battery is at 45, 32, 76, 82, it doesn't matter! as long as you don't drain the battery below 10 percent every time. this is what is lowering your health. Also, the battery health will vary, mine switches between 100 and 99 all the time. I would only worry if it gets below, say, 93 percent health. With older laptops, you were supposed to drain them completely, but with new battery technology, the batteries are made to be charged before they are empty.

Actually the 87 is better than the E-10 85 octane. In some areas there is ethanol in all of the available fuels so you have no choice but to use what's available. However you will get better performance with higher octane.

Hi, my Astro air condition has to be recharged twice a year , i recharged the system before 5 days but i found that the gas disapears much quickly than before. First off, you might have a little problem with your board considering your weight. Im also 5'' 8' but im 140 lol. The biggest thing you want to base your descision when it comes to board size is weight, NOT how far up to your nose it comes. I would say get a 148 but it would seem so small, hmm, 148 would be good for you weight but not your height. A 154 would be good with your height so i would say anywhere in between (152 would be my guess). As for what type, i agree with the guy above me on BURTON all the way. Since you have a good amount of money you can get decent gear, I suggest getting models from past years because you will get great deals and its still same quality. I would say dont buy two boards over two years becuase it will cost you more $, like i said get a past model for cheaper. And YES go to your LOCAL shop, thats where your going to find those good past year deals. Hope this helps a little

AT&T says that all the settings are normal and no one can figure out why it refuses to return to ANY web site and gives me the "forbidden 403" message. Graduating to the Pregnancy section!! Got my BFP!!!?

Hi ladies. Just wanted to say I got my BFP last night using Clear Blue Easy Digital. I totally didn't expect to get a positive since coming off the pill my cycles were very messed up. I was afraid something was wrong with me. After 7 months my cycles finally started getting back to normal. Last month was our first month to use OPKs and we BD'd two days before my positive OPK, twice the day of the positive OPK and again the day after. ok. I am 5"7 and a 38E i live in texas. during the summer tempratures can rise to over 100 degrees. I am in this kickboxing program and its outside. so retarded. Music Major?? Please help?

Last year I started really getting serious about playing my instrument....I practice almost everyday and it is my top priority. I started taking private lessons last year and I got my braces off so I have and am continuing to improve. I go to a competitive school and last year I was in the low band for freshman, but this year I made the middle band (I play second part) for sopres, juniors, and seniors which is considered pretty good at my school. I don't play any other instruments, just trumpet. I played guitar for a couple months a couple years ago but that's it....so I don't really have any piano experience other than playing scales (with improper technique) based on the scale formulas. However, nothing else would make me happier than devoting my life to music....I don't know if I would want to be a music ed or a performance major. I am in marching band and pep band, but this year I plan on joining jazz band as well. I just wonder if I would be good enough....and I think my band director and peers would be shocked because I just don't appear like the type of student who would become a music major. Next year, I hope to take music theory 1 and 2 at my school and then AP music theory my senior year. To any music majors out there, do you have any advice? Do you think I could really do it? Could I email you with any questions regarding becoming a music major? And next year I want to start tutoring 6th graders (basically giving them private lessons where I charge $5). It just sounds so fun to me! And last year I would practice with my friend once a week to teach her the audition music from last year......and I'm going to start teaching her again (for free since she's my friend :)). It's just so fun for me to be able to teach her! I love it!

You can brush your dogs teeth at home if you really want to got that far. I bet most vets do not with their own pets. Finch is easier but they get sick easier. Whichever you come to see fits your taste of how constant care is, feeding schedule, and cuteness. Hamster's are also easy to take care of, but you need to clean up after them more constantly. Finches just nip, it doesn't hurt it just may give you tiny cuts. hamster's bites may make you bleed, but when they adjust to you it will just be a small nip. Oh and hamster's are much more active. They love playing outside the cage, but finches are just more of look.

My daughter is 6 months and just miserable. She is drooling like mad...ends up soaking my carpet...(lol) and is so fussy. She puts every toy in her mouth and gets so upset when the rattle won't fit in her whole mouth. She tried to chew the coffee table the other day and got mad her head kept hitting it therefore preventing her mouth from reaching it. I wash my hands really good and she will just gnaw on my finger. She chews on her pacifier instead of sucking it, instead of drinking the bottle she chews the nipple. So I am taking this is all signs of her teething, so what remedies will help? I give her teething toys and rub her gums and try to comfort her but I am not sure of any other ideas?..any help would be appreciated. Thanks

If the recipe calls for cooking it for 4-6 hours on high and you want to leave it for 8 then change the setting to low. If it calls for cooking it on low add more liquid, otherwise it will get dry and burn on the edges. Adding more ingredients is also okay. If you would prefer canned veges to frozen or fresh add them about 1/2 hour to an hour before you want to eat, if possible, otherwise they will pretty much dissolve.

Quitting smoking question?

Started smoking reds 100s at 13, 18 now and haven't had any in 9 months. Smoking basically dulls your sense of smell. If people were smoking around me it never bothered me in any way. Once you start to quit your sense of smell will improve. Now you will notice how bad they stink. I cant be around smokers anymore because I get really sick. My uncle hasn't smoked in a very long time, he walks around with a unlit cigarette and has it between his fingers or in his mouth, you could try that. With the amount of cigarettes you were smoking I wouldn't expect any noticeable withdraw symptoms. I hope this helped somewhat. My biggest advice would be to stay the hell away from stop smoking products. I have been on the gum for a while now and have become addicted to that, its way to expensive and not worth it.
